Anyone know of an app that lets you scan the barcodes on all your DVDs, CDs, Books etc and make an easy database of your possessions?
I can only find databases without the barcode bit.

For books on Android there's a brilliant one called "Book Catalogue" (funnily enough) which is free, no ads. Been using it for yonks. I'll go and find the link
I scanned through my 600+ paper books with the barcodes in no time with that one.

Most handheld barcode scanners (of the £20-odd variety) install as a keyboard, you scan your barcode and it's the same as keying in the number. With a configuration you can even have them add an 'enter'or 'tab' at the end, so you can catalogue a stack of 100 barcodes in under 3 minutes with a little practice!0
