Which RAM for laptop?

I decided to have a go at adding some more memory to my laptop, see if it speeds it up at all. My habit of having 2 browser windows, and up to 30 tabs open at a time probably doesn't help.
Here's the result of a Crucial scan, which hopefully gives enough information about the laptop. http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/scanview/0E38E08B31D926C3
I clicked on the second link to get more information, but the page just reads Part not available, however I can add it to my basket & proceed to the checkout, so I assume Crucial just don't maintain all the pages.
Searched Google to see what else is available, and the best suggestion was http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ballistix-BLS2G3D1609DS1S00CEU-PC3-12800-Unbuffered-NON-ECC/dp/B006WAGFUQ/.
The main difference, to my untrained eye, is the voltage. 1.35v form Crucial, but the Amazon one is 1.5v, and comments I've read suggest that although 1.35 is better, the difference is negligible.
Any opinions on which is better, or any other sources that may be better?

Try your local, one man band, computer store.
I got 4GB of RAM, for my Akoya laptop, for less than Crucial were charging, and I didn't have to wait for it to arrive by post.0 -

2GB(1x2GB) DDR3-1066MHz PC3-8500 Non-ECC Unbuffered 204 pin Laptop Memory £6.99
As for Crucial's recommendation...forgedaboudit. The above is what you need.
Another thing, how much RAM do you have installed currently? Most specs appear to indicate 3GB. An extra GB won't make much of a difference. If it is 2GB now, then yes.
But 3GB.... Either way, it's only £6.99 per module..0 -

Thanks ND. It does have 3GB and I'm not expecting much improvement. For the price it seems like an experiment worth trying, if only to learn for myself.0
