If you use Google Chrome, do you have to enable extensions each time you log on?.
I do and it seems I'm not the only one because after googling, it is surprising how many others find this is part of their daily ritual. No doubt there is a solution so if you've fallen foul to this and found the remedy, maybe you would like to win yourself a round of applause and another "thanks".

In answer to the first question - no.
Unfortunately I don't get the round of applause because I don't know why not. In fact I don't know what extensions are.:DTall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

Some people refer to them as add-on's, but they are show as extensions. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
The good news...
I know what they are, use them, and don't need to re-enable them every startup.
The bad news...
I have no idea why yours do need re-enabling.0 -

I'm sure you don't, but given that hundreds of people have posted on various forums that they too have this issue, then in the fullness of time if we continue to ask, someone somewhere may well have the answer. But thanks anyway. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
From the few reports I read it seems to be associated with syncing. All I can suggest is that you try one or two of the suggested work arounds to see if you can be free of this problem. If it were me and I couldn't sort it out I'd think about using Firefox instead.0

Firefox has been one of my favourite browsers for years, but had issues using it and adobe flash, so since factory reset, haven't bothered with it and to a degree am pleased. If you were to look at the web user forum, it seems ff has major problems at the moment,This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Try uninstalling & reinstalling.
May just work.“Everything comes to pass, nothing comes to stay.”0 -

I take it you mean the apps/add-on's/extensions. Coincidently, just had to do a windows up-date and they needed enabling after, so this might be a clue. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I think Ordep meant uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome itself.
I also don't have to enable extensions every time. The only time I need to do so is when I put Chrome on another machine and login to my Google account.
Does your account login automatically when you start Chrome? (If it does you should see your account name as a button/tab next the the window controls at the top-right).0 -

Oh. Yes it does log in everytime because my name is there. If I were to remove chrome (add/remove) and install again, other than hopefully solving the problem and needing to sign in to sites again, would there be any change other than that. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
