If your laptop has a dead battery, should you remove it?
If you have a laptop/netbook which has a dead battery, so have it plugged in, should you take out the battery and just have an empty space there? The only reason I ask is I have just seen this on a Thinkpad forum, Do bear in mind that running a machine with a dead battery will eventually blow the charging circuit.
