Ipad and Iphone on Itunes

Hi

Im considering buying an ipad, Ive already had an iphone for some years with the my itunes account.

If I only have 1 itunes account I presume I can have different apps on the ipad and the iphone and they are just a mirror of each other?

Can I put apps on that are already paid for onto the ipad or can you only use them on 1 device?

Would the answer stop you buying an ipad anyway? I suspect not...

Hi there,

Yes you can have different apps on the ipad all through the one iTunes account. You sync/backup to your PC/Mac in the same was as you do for your phone.

Some of the apps you have already downloaded/paid for may also work on your pad but might not be optimised so you wont get the full screen experience. If they arent compatible then you'll have to check they have an ipad version and then download that, there may be an additional charge to do this tho even if you have the iphone equivalent.
