Convertible Laptop/Tablet - Has anybody seen a review for this one?

I'm comparing the following two convertible Laptop/Tablets:

Asus Transformer Book T100TA

HP Pavilion 11t-h000 x2

I've found some very positive reviews for the ASUS (eg, PC Pro, PC mag, uk.hardware.info), but can't find any for the HP - can anybody point me to some good ones?

For the background, what I'm looking for is a convertible tablet for my student daughter. She's got a good (but reasonably large) laptop for most of what she needs but, during the week, she's on assignments and away from her main base. She needs an additional lightweight laptop to easily carry around but also wants a simple tablet for use for note taking during the day. She wants some basic office functions (so I'd prefer a Windows one - I see that the Asus comes with MS Office student which is a real plus). In the evening's she'll want to use it for browsing and iPlayer type stuff.
Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.

Hi, I am afraid I cannot point you in the direction of any reviews but I have gone through a similar exercise as you. I had a laptop, netbook and a tablet and I wanted to sell them and buy something which could hopefully do the job of all 3 (although obviously not as good in every department)
I decided that whilst I like Android on my phone and tablet it would not be much use on a netbook/laptop type machine. I like Windows and have used Windows and office for over 20 years through various transformations and I have got used to it. If I had a desktop running Android I would be lost so I want a product running Windows 8.
I looked at Acer and HP etc and to be honest I ruled out HP because they are quite expensive and do not sell in the quantitys that the more budget orientated machines do, I thought about updates for HP and the fact that if you struggle to find a review on a HP product then if you have a problem in using it you often search on Google for solutions and I do not think the information and support would be out there.
The HP is probably going to be better built and the specs look better than the the Acer, with a larger hard Drive and more memory but as you say there do not seem to be any reviews.
Another product I looked at was a Dell Venue 11 Pro Tablet, These are now on offer at Dell from £474 reduced to £339, they also offer a £200 Trade to Save scheme (search "Dell trade to save") and the venue 11 pro tablets are eligible for this, when you read the fine print about what you can trade for the £200 you can trade a tablet less than 5 years old that holds its charge for 20 minutes minimum from certain manufacturers (Samsung etc) and I found that on eBay I could buy a 2 year old refurbished tablet (ACER I think) for £49.99 which would be eligible to trade. So the Dell Venue 11 pro would be £339 - £200 cashback plus £49.99 to buy a cheap tablet to trade so I would get the tablet for £189. It is a Windows 8 tablet and gets good reviews and the detachable keyboard can be bought seperately for £133 from Dell (maybe cheaper if you shop around) so it would be a total of £322 for a transformer equivalant.
With me money is quite a significant part of the decision (If money was no object I would just spend £1,000 on a Windows tablet from Microsoft!) So I read lots and lots of reviews on the Asus Transformer and they were very good, for the money it is unbeatable and having MS Office Home and Student included is just the icing on the cake that swayed me so that was my decision (last week) and my Asus is due for arrival today (if DPD feel like delivering it) and I have a 32GB SD card and when I get chance I am going to buy a 64GB one to increase the memory. I do not play any games, I just browse the web and use office and I am sure I will be delighted with the Acer.
I ordered the ASUS Transformer Book T100 from Currys which is £339.99 from the website, but if you choose Home delivery (and not collect in store) they deduct another £30 at checkout making it £309.99 delivered.
I hope that it really is as good as the reviews.
Sorry I could not point you in the direction of any reviews but I hope that my thoughts (right or wrong, I am no expert!) may help.
