Keeping Broadband connection
We have to use BT broadband. When the broadband connection is not used for 10 minutes or so it disconnects. During much of the working day it can take up to 30 minutes to reconnect. Is there a program (like a screen saver) that will send random requests to the BT server to keep the connection. Many thanks

Scanning documents into an FTP server
My mate needs to scan (30-40 a day) of A4 documents and transfer them to another location. I suggested to set the scanner up so that it uploads the documents in smallish JPG format directly into an FTP server. Is this possible? What reasonably priced scanner with doc feeder, should he get? Thanks
