PC keeps freezing
I'm looking for some help with a friend's pc. It starts up okay but as soon as I press the right hand side of the mouse the whole pc stops and the only way to get going again is to restart the pc on the button. Any help would be appreciate

Virus Scan
Hi Ever since I've had my PC I've had either Norton or McAfee. I changed to McAfee as Norton was not compatable with AOL, then McAfee went that way! Whats the best to use? AVG? Where do you get it from www.downloads.com? Sorry if I'm being very blonde, just need some advice! THanks

Virus on sons laptop

how can i edit a read only document?
im trying to edit some homework im doing but some of my pages are read only and i dont know how to change it. if i click on a the bit i want to add text to it will bring up an edit box but this is driving me nutz. im using open office if that helps :confused: can anyone tell me how i can stop it from being read only.

IE Shortcuts
Anyone know of a shortcut which I can use to open a link in the background. In Opera its Ctrl + Shift to open a link in a new background tab but in IE the same shortcut opens the link in a new tab at the front. Any ideas would be great -might just be a setting I cant find. :)
