Hi

Ever since I've had my PC I've had either Norton or McAfee. I changed to McAfee as Norton was not compatable with AOL, then McAfee went that way!

Whats the best to use? AVG?

Where do you get it from www.downloads.com?

Sorry if I'm being very blonde, just need some advice!

Christina - did you fully remove Nortons and McAffee. They both produce specific removal tools

:j I really recommend AVG. Had no problems with it whatsoever and IT'S FREE!! No point paying for anti virus stuff when it slows your PC down.

Uninstall your old security when it has run its course and download AVG.

I did remove Norton properly, and am going to remove McAfee this week, I know how to do it so that is not the problem, thanks for asking though!

Will get AVG this week - is it ok? or is there a better option?

I prefer Avast for no other reason than I prefer the way it looks, still free
