Is it possible to set up a PC to either run XP and Office 2003 or (heaven help me) Vista and Office 2007?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

If its any help to you, I am running Windows XP Home Edition with Microsoft Office 2003 installed.
Windows Vista and Office 2007 will run together fine.0 -
You can run any version of windows with any version of office within reason.
I have installed office 97 on windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP machines
I have installed office 2000 on windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP machines
I have installed office XP on windows ME, 2000 and XP machines
I have installed office 2003 on windows 2000, XP and Vista
I have installed office 2007 on windows 2000, XP and Vista0 -
Are you asking for a dual boot machine? I.e. choice between whether you want Vista or XP to boot up when you switch on?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Yes, but I also need to "mimic" both the old PCs we have at work (XP and Office 2003) and the new ones (Vista - OK, we don't have it quite yet, but we can't avoid it for ever - and Office 2007).
Is it a simple as installing Office 2003 on the XP partition and Office 2007 on the Vista partition?
Being a school, we can't really afford two machines for the "same" job and I'd also prefer not to have to lug two laptops around! The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
