windows log on problem
on one of the users on our computer logs on, and it stays on the logging on screen for about 20 mins ( but all other users are fine, log on without any probs) and after that they get fed up and switch the comp off the computer has a 20gb hdd with about 1.29gb free and 512mb ram, if that helps! avira free antivirus program
Is it ok to download this and keep the free avg program as well? I have 3 trojans detected by the avg but which it won't or can't heal/quarantine/delete. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat re downloading stuff in case I infect my computer more. Is the avira program OK? Thanks.

I have a desktop PC that I want to use in an outbuilding. I would like to make it wifi enabled to use the wireless router indoors. Power saving on PC
I have just discovered the power saving feature on Windows XP. I have set the monitor to turn off after 15mins so I just have to wiggle the mouse and everything comes back on. There is a hard disk option - does this turn the computer right off or just put it into a sleep mode like the monitor?

Recent problem. When i click a link on the browser a new window to the link opens as normal. However it is not opening up fully.
