Vandalisim
Hi this is my first time on here, but after scouring the web, I can't find the answer I need, and I'm hoping someone on here might help. Since moving a year ago I've had my car vandalised 4 times; Windscreen smashed £75 excess, a wiper snapped £15, whole side keyed £500 damage, and now this weekend more key damage…

Just a warning and maybe some advice needed here. So a number of days ago I applied for a modelling application at the M0del agency. I went for a casting and was successful. The photography company told me that in order to sign up to the model agency, I'd have to buy my photos! £800 in total! £200 upfront And the rest in…

Rant: Tesco Bank
Sick and tired of Tesco Bank. Any other financial institution I use in regard to my online accounts -- bank, building soc, saver account, other credit cards -- and log in is never a problem. Tesco Bank? Not a chance. Though it never says so in plain English, Tesco Bank requires you to keep a Tesco Bank cookie on your…

Mothers Day Debenhams Disaster
I see a few topics made on their experiences with Florists from companies such as M&S and eflorist. Well i spent £26+Postage for a nice bunch of flowers for my mother form Debenhams. The bunch she received was awful. I was very embarrassed when she sent me this image thanking me. There were no lillys, 4 full bloomed roses…

eFlorist - Mothers day catastrophe. Am I alone?
Well I am facing another year of being a useless son who doesn't think of his Mother on her special day. Ordered flowers from eFlorist on Friday for a Saturday delivery. I thought I would get in early the day before Mothers Day just in case they were all too busy and my order was left waiting. Payment went through,…

George, Asda
I have been treating myself to some online George sale items - well, quite a lot of them in fact due to having lost a lot of weight and in need of wardrobe overhaul. Since beginning February, I have bought (and unfortunately had to return) quite a lot. I thought everything was being handled ok until a couple of weeks ago…

Amazon cancelled an order without asking
My husband ordered an item with expedited delivery from Amazon. First problem item did not arrive within the time scale give. Refund of expedited fees sorted. :T Then to add insult to injury, somewhere along the line the delivery was messed up & the item returned. At no point was any attempt made to deliver the item to the…

Item price comparison
I have notices in Asda, the price labels on the shelves are both in £ per 100grms and £ per unit. For instance Weetabix is priced per biscuit and Asda's own brand is priced per 100grms. I also noticed this practice in the tea isle, where some teas were priced per bag and others per 100 grms. This makes price comparison…

Amazon - I was in, my parcel was left at the wrong house and my signature forged!
Basically, I was in, delivery driver goes next door. This neighbour hasn't been around for a while but does tend to order things while she's away and come back to a load of stuff. Later, as time was getting on and no other delivery person had been, I decide to go online and check the tracking. It says the parcel was signed…

IWOOT (I want one of those) - AVOID
Made the mistake of using this website for a present for my father who lives in the USA in December. Ordered and paid online easily enough and delivery agreed for 28th december. That date came and went. I then tried to communicate with their customer services. A complete joke. The only way of communicating is by message…

Placed an order online this evening from Currys, for home delivery. Nothing mega expensive, £300. Just received an email from a 'Fashade Agboola' (email address: fashadeagboola@dixonscarphone.com) saying that they need to speak to me before they can dispatch my item, and to call them this evening. Have googled the name and…

I am furious with Asda home delivery who failed to deliver a £60.67 shop to me in West Swindon on Tuesday between 10 pm and 12 pm. They have now got the delivery as "delivered" on my account and have only refunded me £4! They called on Wed at 9.30 am to say that something was wrong with a driver a barely apologised. I…

Praise for Harry
For this lovely young man - his family must be so proud of a young man who loves his nan so much. In the middle of all the wrangling, moaning and grumbling that we all do at times, there's this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeVs6q5bC_s It certainly brought tears to my eyes.

Using college skips or public bins
I would like to know if I got caught putting my household rubbish in the college skips or in public bins would I get fined. The reason why I ask is because the council have given us smaller bins and some weeks they are not being emptied properly. I've phoned the council and they say sorry but the crew will not return if…
