Furious with asda home delivery!!!

I am furious with Asda home delivery who failed to deliver a £60.67 shop to me in West Swindon on Tuesday between 10 pm and 12 pm. They have now got the delivery as "delivered" on my account and have only refunded me £4! They called on Wed at 9.30 am to say that something was wrong with a driver a barely apologised. I asked for a phone call to confirm that the money would be refunded but nothing. Called again today at 4 and still no confirmation just some rubbish about why the £4 was refunded and then no return call. A rubbish phone line as well from someone I could barely hear! Is this how Asda treat people now? I've got another shop booked for tomorrow. Will it be delivered? Will I be charged? Who knows .....

10 pm to 12 pm? I'm assuming you mean 10 am to 12 pm?
More than likely ASDA will have started the refund process through your bank - so the money will already be on the way back it'll just take a few days to reach you.
I've never understood why people ask for "return calls" to be honest - you should either stay on the line and get sorted out what you need to sort out or ring them back yourself.
Not that I'm defending them, but I've worked in call centres myself and it's almost impossible to ring people back due to constant inbound calls or managers getting on your !!!!! as soon as you try and make an outbound call.
If someone was nice to me I'd have no problem ringing them back on my break and sorting something out for them (which would mean sacrificing my break). However if you're being !!!!!y or demanding to be called back etc...don't expect that advisor to make any effort to want to have to speak to you again.
I've said this more times than I care to remember on here - the only way to get what you want from a call centre is to be friendly, co-operative and nice to the person you speak to - you want them on your side helping you not thinking "I want this moaner off the phone ASAP".0
