Possible problem with CreditExpert and cancellation of membership
CreditExpert is supposed to offer 1 month's free membership before you have to pay. When I joined, I made sure that I cancelled well within the required time. I have an email to confirm this which states that I will not be charged. This happened over a month ago. Then this morning I got an email to say that they had tried…

Currys Dishonest and refuse to do their job
On Tuesday 12th of this Month, myself and the wife purchased a Bosch washing machine in Currys/PC World. We spent an extra €60 on a a new clothes iron too, because the sales rep (David) was really good at his job and couldn't have been more helpful. We wanted to take the washing machine home that day, because we had the…

Vent -- Car Insurance renewal...
Why can't I renew my car insurance without the call centre staff trying to sell me legal expenses, additional injury cover, house insurance, breakdown cover etc. No, I don't want the convenience of automatic renewal nor do I want the pleasure of being contacted by your fabulous affiliates. JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

Who be I buying from?
Found a fridge freezer online (hopefully flame retardent) with a choice between buying from two big name online retailers - nothing in price other than retailer brand. Opted for the more familiar high street name. Not comfortable with online buying, I rang the website sales number. Very friendly chat. Went through my order…

Tesco stock (or lack of)
I poped into my local Tesco earlier today to stock up on cat food. (one of my moggies is very fussy and will only eat certain foods, the main one being Whiskas "Oh so meaty, chicken). Due to the extremely large number of different items held, they only keep a few of each, and of the one I wanted, there were only 4 sachets…

I like the Scots
After my second business trip North of the border in the last month, I want to say how friendly the Scots are and the landscape is amazing. I must try and spend some free time up there rather than rushed business trips. I also love how patriotic the Scottish are, we should have more St Georges flags on English trucks. P.S…

People liking & sharing pictures on Facebook. Other than delete - how to stop?
First off, all the "Facebook is evil" people better leave as you'll just end up stressing yourselves out & wasting your time - as i'm not going to delete the account. The "delete the friend" people will also be wasting their times. Best to hit the red X in the top right. I don't mind the person & other than this i like…

Praise for Sky Bangalore
Hi all, I had an issue with my Sky b/band this evening. I phoned up Sky to get it sorted. Passed to a lady in India that couldn't resolve my problem. Politely requested to be passed to her manager, which she did without any issues. He (the manager) was brilliant and his English was superb !!! He fixed the problem quickly…

Lavertons website - real or not?
Just an amber warning, because I cannot be sure, but this Lavertons site (Kitchen appliances etc) might be a false site similar to Kitchenarts (thread here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4116487) I have been looking for food mixers, so found Kitchenarts a few weeks ago which had cheap branded products but…

Vertbaudet
I ordered a changing bag from this website on the 1st of march, I received an email conformation of the order and that delivery would be 5-10 working days. Yesterday I phoned their customer services to inquire as to when I would be receiving my bag only to be told that they had applied to my bank for the money but had…

SSGE - Praise - Great customer service
I had a new front door fitted by SSGE (Norwich) about five years ago. The door handle was getting a bit stiff when you had to lift it up to turn the key, so I phoned them to ask them to tweak it a bit. They promise a 10 year warranty on all their work, but I was still expecting to argue my case on the phone....but no: "Oh…

Comic Relief - What happened....
...to being able to donate as little or as much as you wish to. Tonight and recent RD programmes seem to be constantly asking you to text a number to donate £5 or £10. The promoting of the usual number where you can give £2 for example is barely mentioned. While l'm on a rant, Comic Relief has been going now for 25 years,…

ISME.. doesn't seem to get anyone.
Filled in the information to get a catalogue sent to me. Once I'd given them all of my details, (address, phone number, email address) the website told me I had been refused and invited me to phone an 0844 number to find out why. After looking at the reviews on their website, I think they've probably done me a favour. I…
