VENT Why can't I buy now?

Well I want a new gents dressing gown but shops only sell them at Christmas!!!! Burtons and Peacocks for example.
Plus Morrisons sell a lovely goats cheese with fruit over it but it is only available at Christmas!

Must be a seasonal thing.

Whats special about the dressing gown that no other will do?

I think dressing gowns are less "christmas" and more winter. I suspect they are mainly worn during the winter months and as we are approaching spring the shops are moving over to Spring/Summer.

As for the cheese, why not buy the cheese and fruit separately, lots of different fruity accompaniments on the web these days.

But we make a point of shopping in shops if possible to keep the high street going. No BHS, M&S or Debenhams here.
