TK Maxx sticky labels!
Why are TK Maxx labels so sticky?! They're a nightmare to get off, and they always seem to be stuck over a part of the product that you need to see (especially on food items), but you can't get all the label off without damaging what's underneath!

Groupon\BodyZorb scam
Hi Wondered if anybody else had bought a Groupon voucher for BodyZorb UK and been scammed like me and many others I know. Basically, we all bought the voucher from Groupon, booked our experience and then had an email cancelling the session due to 'high demand'. Various emails then came advising to book later, but…

A rant a day...
...doesn't help my lack of water pressure!! :( I called Severn Trent yesterday as we seem to be having some issues with the pressure in our house. I was told to try and clear any air locks from the stop tap and that they would phone me in the morning. Great... ...until now, when it's nearly 3.30pm and I've not heard any…

Tesco Cheating With It's Price Check
Their price check is becoming worthless and I am now going to be shopping in Asda for the foreseeable future. When I price check I often see items that Tesco claim are being sold in Asda at the same price as Tesco, even when I know this isn't true and Asda are selling the item as a standard price rather than a special…

When is smoking inside, really inside?
Took my mum out today and went to have our dinner at a local cafe. While we were eating I could smell cigarette smoke, I thought someone had walked into the cafe smoking, but when I looked round, the two women serving in the cafe were stood in the doorway behind the back of the counter, smoking. As the door was open…

Tesco Credit Card
I got the Tesco Credit Card last year for the 0% for 13 months thing and at first things were ok. In March I noticed I got a late payment fee even though I pay by direct debit, I phoned them up and they gave it back to me. In April, same thing. They apologised and said there was an error and gave it back to me again. I…

TPS - Has anyone had real success with it?
I am fed up of getting calls. I know I am registered on TPS and the lack of calls from the big companies suggests to me that I am covered, but the rubbishy little companies still keep calling. Worse, they have the temerity to tell me it is my fault - I have registered too recently (registered in the early days), or too…

Rude bus driver
Just a little thing but really got me annoyed. Had to run for the bus today and got to the doors just as the person in front of be had boarded. Of course, because I had been running i hadn't had the chance to get my money ready. I would estimate that it took me about 1 minute to get my purse out and fish about for the…

Maplin - Hard Drive Without UK Warranty
Very disappointed in Maplin. They sold me a hard drive that, according to Samsung, is not intended for sale in the UK. I found this out after the hard drive failed and Samsung would not honour their manufacturer warranty (using Samsung's warranty/RMA checker I receive error code '103', 'Out of Service area' 'The product…

Sapphire Studios London URGENT
Actually, any advice would be nice: I too received the famous “you have won a fantastic photo shoot” call... many people have talked about from Sapphire Studios. I never win anything and was pleasantly surprised with this, and stupidly fell for it, even though I’m not comfortable giving details over the phone, and we…

Brabantia Praise!
Not often I feel the need to praise a company, but just really impressed with Brabantia. Our kitchen bin has a press open lid, and a spring fell out a couple of days ago so it doesn't open by itself now. Googled customer service number, straight to a uk person, no automated messages, and they're popping a whole new lid in…

Warning - Gumtree email attachment
Listed an item on Gumtree and had email from a buyer asking whether it is still for sale. I responded by saying it is still available and he then replied with an email saying he is interested and asked me to open an attachment to see further detail. I almost did! But I emailed the buyer back saying I don't have notepad,…

White label dating con artists!
I've often dabbled in online dating and in Sept I joined theuglybugball and paid £20 subscription. I thought it was a specialist site for those who wanted to meet people who weren't as vein etc. Upon joining I discovered it is part of the white label dating group, who allow people to set up home pages claiming to be…

Jacamo - a review
I'm a big chap (38inch waist) so I thought I'd give Jacamo a go. I called their 0800 number to ask for a catalogue, after giving all my details the lady at the other end went quiet for ages. After a while I said "hello". She said, "please hold on, I'm just doing a credit check". "WHAT?, Why" I asked, I didn't want credit.…

What the £$*^& is an "Account Status Review Fee"??
not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it is a bit of a vent as well as a request for advice, so it seems a sensible place to start... usually I use internet banking. got a difficult couple of months coming up, so I wondered if my bank might let me have a temporary overdraft. As the only thing I could do…

Essence-store scam help required
Hi can someone tell me the best way to try and remove Essence-store from trading, they are an absolute scam, having terrible problems with them, saying they have sent my item when they haven't and then saying I ordered a different item than I did, it really is dreadful that they can keep on taking money from people when…

Praise: Argos!
I went into my local branch of Argos yesterday to buy a new pushchair because mine fell apart on the way into town (grrrr!) but unfortunately the one I wanted wasn't in stock in any of the local stores :( I explained to the manager that I need it as soon as possible so he offered to go and get it personally for me from a…
