TK Maxx sticky labels!

Why are TK Maxx labels so sticky?! They're a nightmare to get off, and they always seem to be stuck over a part of the product that you need to see (especially on food items), but you can't get all the label off without damaging what's underneath!

It's deliberate, to reduce/eliminate label "swapping".
Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

Lakeland do a sticky stuff remover that's orange oil based. Works a treat.

I think TKMaxx got fed up with people removing red stickers from things and putting them on non-reduced items.

I had thought of that, and guessed that was why but it's a pain in the bum for those of us who are honest and just want to buy things without damaging them by simply taking off the label!

My dad has some 'Sticky Stuff Remover' actually. Keep meaning to get some myself!

WD40 also works quite well for removing sticky stuff, but obviously you may have to be selective about what you spray it on.

I can't abide cheap sticky labels.

If everyone was as honest as they say they are, we would have little swing tickets on goods.

Until that day, cope with the sticky stuff.

I always find old people and the righteous ones are the worst offenders of price swapping. I think the righteous ones think they have a direct line to God for forgiveness
  • Use a hairdryer on it - if you can get a small piece of the corner up and aim the hot air there it will peel off.
