White label dating con artists!

I've often dabbled in online dating and in Sept I joined theuglybugball and paid £20 subscription.
I thought it was a specialist site for those who wanted to meet people who weren't as vein etc.
Upon joining I discovered it is part of the white label dating group, who allow people to set up home pages claiming to be specialist sites; however they all use the same generic data base so none of the sites are specialist at all.
The run sites such as -
Kissinggates (countryside dating)
Funat40 (over 40s)
Planetrockdating (rock lovers)
Classical music dating
You can see the problem here?
The customer service is appalling too, I received a few abusive messages from users who then blocked me before I could reply, the problem he is that when they block they can view you but you can't view them, block them or report them.
When you mail support they brush it under the carpet saying they have blocked them but take no further action.
It is overly moderated so they can use unpaid profiles to lure new subscribers, when my sub ended I wanted to leave a note to say I was no longer a member....this is not allowed. I later found out they use dormant profiles to send winks.
Yesterday was my last day, the site was down for 12 hours; however they refuse to add the time lost due to their error to my subscription.
I would advise anyone joining a paid site to check the business address and check it is not a white label dating site.
Google reviews and it is shocking.
Why are sites allowed to operate like this?

In respect of your profile you should insist they remove all the information about you. Quote the Data Protection Act. It is difficult to imagine they have a legitimate reason to hang onto your data now!0

I have done so, although will check to make sure I'm not still on there when I have deleted. They are hard to get hold of without being a member though.0
