Debenhams - Avoid Like The Plague
Bought a large sofa from Debenhams, delivered last month on the 15th (should have been delivered before but will not go into it:rolleyes: ). Looked perfect on delivery, Have to say delivered by the most miserable smelliest men ever (stank my home with cheap, nasty roll-up tobacco, ooh and stale sweat). Fault found when…

Rbs Sales Sales Sales
Just coming here to let off steam about RBS. I called last night to find out the settlement figure on my loan. It took me about 15 mins to find this out, and then the customer agent couldn't really tell me the exact details as the system wouldn't let him in, but in the meantime he was trying to sell me everything under the…

5 hrs looking for car insurance!!
Hi fellow Mse'rs I thought I would come on here for a wee rant about renewing my car insurance. I spent 5 hrs yesterday trying to renew my car insurance for a fiat punto. I tried all the various comparison sites and found what I was looking for on Moneysupermarket. The quotes varied from £179 to £600. Just when I thought I…

ASDA sneaky selling techniques...
My OH and I went to ASDA on a bit of a whim last week, only intending to buy 1-2 things. Because of this, we hadn't brought our supply of the hemp bags we normally use. We ended up buying about enough for 2-3 carrier bags, and when we got to the till, the man serving us said that he didn't have any carrier bags left so…

Sneaky Asda pushing 'rewards' card
Be aware that Asda have started pushing their credit card onto customers under the disguise of a rewards card. One guy approached me yesterday, but turned away saying ' oh, you again' when he recognised me as the person he spoke to the day before - I'd said 'but it's not just a rewards card, it's a credit card - this is…

I bought a Hitachi hard disk TV recorder over a year ago and stupid me ignored a fault with it where it would frequently freeze and sometimes skip channels without me even touching the remote. This is because the one I have was a replacement for an even worse one and I thought I could live with it but its driving me up the…

Specsavers top marks
I had an incorrect glasses prescription from Boots, which I only noticed after the new glasses where made at Specsavers. After getting a second opinion from Specsavers, they confirmed that my prescription was incorrect and offered to replace the lenses free of charge. A very nice store manager indeed and boo to Boots.

enjoyinglife.biz and secretoflifebiz.com
Somebody stuck an advert for a get rich quick scheme for one of these on a notice board in our village. Being a suspicious SOB I checked out the website to find the usual promises that this is not a pyramid scheme etc, and how people are earning 7 figure money from anywhere in the world for four hours a day a couple of…

Problem with garage
I don't know who to complain to or what my rights are. Just before Christmas my husband reversed my car into our gatepost and the damage was such that we decided to claim on the car insurance. Garage picked up car having pre-ordered the part they needed and told me the work would take about a week. I rang after a week and…
