Debenhams - Avoid Like The Plague

Bought a large sofa from Debenhams, delivered last month on the 15th (should have been delivered before but will not go into it:rolleyes: ). Looked perfect on delivery, Have to say delivered by the most miserable smelliest men ever (stank my home with cheap, nasty roll-up tobacco, ooh and stale sweat). Fault found when hubby and I sat on the sofa - LHS nice and firm, when you sit on RHS of sofa you sink. Called Debenhams on the 16th of Jan - you will be contacted by an Indepent Inspector within 4 days, fine. Two weeks later, still no contact. Called Debenhams, we will call you back - still waiting!:D Contacted Trading Standards of my local council - as advised sent letter by Recorded Delivery stating you have 14 days to rectify problem etc. Debenhams have ignored this letter also. Well back at Trading Standards on Friday - if Debenhams want a fight, they can have one:D So a word of warning do not waste your hard earned cash in Debenhams. Bunch of cowboys!
