Hi there,

does anyone know or has experience with http://ukelectronicsbuy.com/index.php?language=en ? They do incredible deals, if you check prices it seems too good to be true. I decided to give it a try and ordered a laptop yesterday, so hope that everything will work out. The only thing is I couldn't find any info or reviews about the shop on the net, does anyone know it??

  • Here's my review:

    SPAM!!
    Call me Carmine....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??
  • Doubt it is spam, orginal poster is saying they think the prices are too good to be true and cant find any reviews on them, I would think he/she is unlikely to say that about his own company ???
  • Thanks, Daisymac, I'm really just looking for people who know the shop as I am not sure if I can trust it or not. Have you had a look at teh prices? Theys ay they ship everything from New York, but still..
Do you think I can trust it?

OP only joined today, looks like the domain of the 'too good to be true' company was only purchased last week. Methinks spam too.....

It might have been a good idea to ask for reviews before you ordered from them... after you have placed the order it's a bit late to worry about whether they are dodgy! ;)

As I said - it looks like the domain was only purchased last week - so I would say no, I wouldn't trust it.

Go to a site that sells domains and enter the name you want to 'buy' (or check out....)

It will then tell you the name is unavailable but also give you the option of seeing the details of the person who has purchased it and it will usually tell you when it was created, when it expires etc.
  • Put a domain in here:

    http://whois.xreg.co.uk/

    Output for this one:

    Domain Name.......... ukelectronicsbuy.com
    Creation Date........ 2009-02-11
    Registration Date.... 2009-02-11
    Expiry Date.......... 2010-02-11
    Organisation Name.... Snehal Mohadikar
    Organisation Address. P O Box 99800
    Organisation Address.
    Organisation Address. EmeryVille
    Organisation Address. 94662
    Organisation Address. CA
    Organisation Address. US

Its using a "private registration" service which hides the true contact details.... not good for any business wanting to be legitimate.
