5 hrs looking for car insurance!!

Options
Hi fellow Mse'rs I thought I would come on here for a wee rant about renewing my car insurance. I spent 5 hrs yesterday trying to renew my car insurance for a fiat punto. I tried all the various comparison sites and found what I was looking for on Moneysupermarket. The quotes varied from £179 to £600. Just when I thought I had the right insurer, I would check out their customer reviews and the majority were terrible, I was then back to looking again. This went on for 5 hrs until I had a migraine, eventually deciding on esure as their customer service review was 5 stars. shrewdal

Crikey. I spent 20 minutes yesterday sorting Mrs Tozer's insurance out with no problems at all. Ended up paying less than £100 with Swinton (they are offering £40 cashback)
  • I switched to esure recently. I can confirm that their prices are competitive, documents were received in the post within 48 hours, and when I had a query I spoke to an English call centre, who solved my problem quickly and efficiently.

    Excellent experience so far.
  • I normally get the Butler to do mine at the brokers

I looked at Swinton, did a Google, found this, then rapidly went elsewhere.

Problem with review sites is that you only hear from the screamers.

The happy ones don't bother tell the world how happy they are.
