Moving house - do I want BT?
Hi all, I'm moving into a rented flat soon and I would like a landline (and broadband). There's no cable so Virgin's not an option. Also I'm perfectly happy with freeview tv. I had a look on the BT website, put in my address and it says there's an inactive line in the property. What do I need to do with regards to actually…

Flat rate internatioal call plan deals?
We make 3-4 hours of international calls per week including Asia (10% are mobile). Had some spam from BT business about a £15 per month eat as much as you like plan, unlimited calls anywhere. Several catches, e.g. is really £22.50 not £15 unless you take their broadband, since we are on a real cable street, no thanks. But…

Avoid VoipCheap - they are scam artists and do not have any customer service!!
A bit of feedback on Voipcheap. I have seen that they have been given a recommendation of sorts on an article about cheap Voip calls on this site. Please AVOID VoipCheap. They have no customer services number, do not reply to emails (2 weeks later and I am still waiting for a reply), and have been charging me for merely…

Is there a quick way to find out who my provider is? I've checked my BT account under usage and it still says nothing despite that fact I've been making calls but…

Got an e-mail the other day from BT reminding me that I had been receiving their discounted calling plan discount for almost a year now and that if I didn't want to automatically agree to another 12 month lock in, I should let them know within the next couple of weeks. Considering I'm looking at getting Sky again (plus…

BT - sneaky changes to charging.
Letter arrived from BT today reminding me about all the things I pay for. At the end it announces some changes to the terms and conditions. The main one being that the evening call period changes from 6pm - 6am to 7pm - 7am. For years I bet loads of customers have picked up the phone at 6:01pm and called loved ones etc. I…

Virgin Media
I am a customer with Virgin Media and whilst I have no complaint about their services I do about there method of charging. I pay my account monthly via internet banking which to me is similar to direct debit or Virgins own online payment facility. And yet they charge me a £5 'handling' fee just because I do not use their…
