Need ideas for expired milk that's still good
Hi All I got some milk from work ( I work as a cook at a daycare centre) that was a day over its expiry, the milk still tastes ok and my plan was to make ice cream but all the recipes require cream which I don't have (and i'm trying to use what I already have). Anyone have any ideas for the milk besides smoothies and milk…

Cream tea anyone?
Just having a cream tea for my desert :D It a rare treat, the clotted cream was expensive (£1.85:eek:) to offset that I brought value scones (50p) and jam (29p). Scones are ok but wish I got better jam. Anyone else like cream teas? Any MSE tips to make this treat cheaper? or ideas to use up the cream?

Is anyone else watching dispatches?
I hope it's ok to post this but please remove if not! I'm just watching the dispatches programme about food shopping going up. And the 'shrinkflation' they're talking about is pretty bad! I'm not sure I'd notice half of their examples! Just wondered what other people thought of it all :)

Freezing hummus?
I quite like making my own hummus, but I'd like to be able to freeze it in small batches so I can be all virtuous and take little pots into work with me in which to dip some carrot sticks etc. It is OK to freeze hummus without it going all horrible? I usually make it, then have to eat it several days in a row, or worse,…

Amazon delivery
I wonder if I can get some advice please. (I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for it.) I took in a parcel for one of my neighbours earlier in the week, which I've done on many occasions before. I've since heard that they have moved out. I don't know what I need to do about this parcel. Does anyone know how I can…

What are your biggest budget busters
I have been keeping a spending diary for a while and I always thought I was pretty savvy on the food shopping. However it turns out I am not in that I am too careful with the weekly shop meaning that I ' top up' shop which has caught me out as it looks like these vary from £4 to £8 about 3/4 times a week. So the top up…

Combi Microwave or Mini Oven.....?
Needs some opinions please as I've been pondering this for weeks and want to crack on and get something. I've just had to return my Remoska as the handles came loose and the pan stained - all within two months of using it. Now I've got no faith in the new design so am looking for an alternative for baking without putting…
