Slow cooker meal planning
I'm just wondering if it's easier to use the slow cooker daily for one meal at a time or use it to batch cook. I live on my own and work full time. I can't seem to get into a routine with meal planning for myself. I mainly eat chicken and fish, sometimes mince and pasta. I did a pasta bake yesterday, froze some and put…

dried milk best before question
Hello Can anyone tell me if dried milk is safe to use for longer than after the six weeks it has been opened and if so how much longer after? The date on the packet is best before so I know it can be used after this date but it is the part where it says "once opened use within six weeks" I am unsure about. Thanks

Good quality ironing board cover?
Hi all, I bought an ironing board (Minky) from Asda under 6 months ago and the cover has already ripped wide open. We only iron 6 items a week so I'm a bit cross  Unfortunately I no longer have the receipt and I can't find the transaction on my bank statement so I must've paid cash! Can anyone recommend something…

Best banana bread recipe.
I have tried loads of different recipes for banana bread. But I haven't yet found "the one". Has anyone got a fail safe regularly used recipe. I would ideally like to take a piece to work to have with a coffee in the morning, instead of my cereal bar. Thanks in advance.

We need to eat all of our food before we get a new kitchen!
Hopefully having a new kitchen fitted within 6 weeks (once ordered) and I'm very aware that I have a completely full freezer (fullsize, 2 adults, 1 x 4 year old) so I am going to have to clearly just eat from the freezer and store cupboard. That's fine I can work it out. But what about when the kitchen is being fitted? It…
