Hello!
Valli in on supply, [STRIKE]thread's OP currently under construction[/STRIKE]
Do not lose heart if you cannot keep up with everyone else or reading the thread, don't try to reply to everyone and please remember to include something about flying in all your posts.
Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.
Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up
These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.
Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.
A few of the basics before we start the week
Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.
Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis
HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

Extras
Binbag dance - click the title for today for your binbag dance music!
Learn to use your tech more efficiently so that if (for example) your son has swiped your mouse and you have had to resort to the I pad you can learn to copy and paste links in forums. If your oven has a timer make sure you know how to use it or read an instruction manual (for one appliance you use regularly) to make sure you're up to date - and using - all those quirky features. Apparently, despite multiple wash programmes, most of use stick to the same one time after time!
Check your diary for the week to make sure you don't miss any appointments or birthdays!
Check your Toots list! Can you completely cross anything off or, for those big jobs, have you made a start (eg getting quotes; looking at paint/wallpaper, made appointments?) - Toots list Jobs are sometimes biggies but they can be broken down into babysteps!
And finally HH - ironing, gardening or something.
BUT don't forget the :coffee: breaks!
Last but not least, many thanks to Natty for last week and our thoughts are with Piggers.

Thanks Valli for stepping in and doing the thread
Kitchen should be easy for me as I only cleaned it yesterdayI've got paid stuff and lots of laundry to do. Hopefully I'll get all caught up with it today so I can go out and run errands tomorrow while DD is out with her friends.

Thank you, Valli - I looooooooooove the extras! I need to sort out how to use the sound desk at church properly, for when we have outside speakers at the Old Wives.
Thank you Natty for last week's lists. Sorry I didn't join in much, what with grandbeasts, travelling and another migraine. Hope you begin to feel better soon x
My list for today (though some may be carried over to tomorrow if this migraine persists):
- S&S bathroom
- Kitchen levels 1 + 2, plus floor
- Tidy round LR and DR
- Sort more of the Old Wives' programme for this term (have already made 2 phonecalls this morning)
- Sort desk and do filing
- Book airport car parking
- Check Toots list and make a start on something
- Read at least 3 chapters of my book
- Take biscuits and milk to this evening's meeting of the Old Wives

Thanks girlies! Now properly finished Monday but it is, as always, a choose-what's-appropriate.
I have a new (to me - it's 3rd hand) i phone so I am getting to grips with that - but a colleague had the same kitchen installer as me and the same oven and I found out she couldn't use the timer so I wrote her an 'idiot guide' (some time back) - I think we read manuals when the appliance is new, don't take it all in so best that once *whatever* is up and running a re-read of the manual makes more sense, because then you can get feature-use into your head.
DD is off to my sisters shortly with my mum, to look at a car she could be gifted but I don't think it's right for her and neither does she. We have yet to fess up we stuck a deposit on a car in Mansfield!
WM x1; DW x1
I had planned to do my BR (which I was going to do yesterday but hey ho) but I will be VERY good and do the kitchen once DD has departed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Have just had a mad half hour running around: S&S'd bathroom, did the worst of the kitchen, tidied LR and DR, put away toys in spare BR, and made up bed in Study BR for overnight visitor at the end of May!
Valli, I will join you while I tackle the pile of papers on my desk, so that I then have room to read :rotfl:0
