I'll join you and finish what I've got left to do biscuit.
Just made a really grim discovery putting some non iron away and pairing some socks from the laundry basket. Found what I thought was a bag of DGS spare nappies and clothes. No it was a wet bag with used but thankfully just wet nappies in. It must be about a week old and stank!!!! It's now all in the wm.SPC~12 ot 124

School hols here. We have sorted and checked 2 boxes of Lego micro world sets for sale. Amazingly they are complete.
I don't feel well (lack of energy mainly) after ds2 had a few meltdowns.
Heavy showers on and off here.
Sticks, spoons and hugs in the garden help yourselves x0 -
Learn to use your tech more efficiently so that if (for example) your son has swiped your mouse and you have had to resort to the I pad you can learn to copy and paste links in forums. If your oven has a timer make sure you know how to use it or read an instruction manual (for one appliance you use regularly) to make sure you're up to date - and using - all those quirky features. Apparently, despite multiple wash programmes, most of use stick to the same one time after time!
As to the quoted extract from today's listy - I have the instruction manuals for the new steam cleaner and the new WM out, and referring to them at each use, til I get my head round how to use these appliances properly. I am not going to just use the "mixed load" option on the WM to the exclusion of all else!!
Other than that, I'm just doing the best I can; I am in sheer agony with my arms, shoulders and back. I think it's just a flare, (I hope that's all it is), but it's making Flying.... er..... interesting. And I am quaffing Oramorph like there's no tomorrow.
I have, however, today:- Fed and walked Jack
- Been to Mr M's, and discovered that a new Herr A has opened on the same shopping precinct :T
- Detoured to the B00ts on the same precinct for a new pot of Tiger Balm (I am using this like it was going out of fashion currently)
- Done HHWiiFit
- Done the accounts spreadsheets - Mr LW got his first ever State Pension today.
- Made a quiche
- Made a "lemming cake"
- Cleaned the kitchen (Mr LW kindly washed up as I created mess)
- Walked Jack again
- Done my emails (a gazillion surveys)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Excellent work ladies.
I have done a maidenful of ironing, and this included today's washing as it started showering (heavily, I'm in roughly the same area as Dancemum) so that will finish off airing/drying.
DD's been to look at a car. It's like WWIII in here now with opinions being freely given. I'm keeping my head down. She has been offered a car almost free, though she would have to give DS some money as Uncle won't treat one without the other - it's complicated. Upshot is she doesn't want the 'free' car.
And I am wondering what to give you for tomorrow.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I've made cauliflower cheese for tea, having mash and veggie sausages with it.
Was slightly embarrassed that with the sun shining at the right angle I can still read "let it snow!" From where the Christmas gels were stuck on the glass so they definately need doing.
In a plus Dh came in from work and said the kitchen looks bigger!SPC~12 ot 124
