My half hour in the kitchen has meant a start has been made.

I have emptied the DW, pegged out the washing, run a sink full of hot water to do a spot of washing up, moved unused/empty jars ready to go in the cupboard and sorted out labels for the marmalade that's been setting on the sill for a week, which I am about to stick on and then I can put them away.

Dizzy the Drama Queen flouncing in...

Chest still jolly painful but life with small people and dogs goes on.

I've done a limited amount in the caravan kitchen and dining area, but I'd tidied and cleaned quite a bit yesterday before my turn, so have flitted about.

I went to see a nursery/pre school for Tiny today as things are really getting a bit much at home with everything going on and I feel he needs more stimulation and socialising than he gets here. Pleased to say that he loved it, so have booked him in for two mornings a week, term-time only. He starts on Wednesday. I'm hoping these extra hours will give me back time I need to keep on top of things and deal with the restoration works. Or sleep. Either is good :rotfl:

Just got to sort out a food delivery for tomorrow, so sitting with a cuppa, while the boys watch Transformers.

Thanks for the lists Natty, Nicki, Valli and Piggers - you're all stars x

Hugs to pigpen. I hope you are ok.

Wipe down appliances But disconnect them first....
Wipe all switches with a well-squeezed damp cloth and don't forget the sticky sockets! And the light switches!

    Hi all

Kitchen is fairly presentable, cupboards could do with a wipe down but I will do that when I wash up after tea.

My priority is to get my finance spreadsheets up to date, I am getting a bit lazy about this.

DH is home again feeling ill. He is at the docs tomorrow so I really hope he tells them that despite 4 weeks of medication he is no better. And of course being self employed no work means no money but I am trying not to think about that.

    Right, spreadsheets.

OK. I'm done. In my HHC

Hall and stairs cleaner than they have been since Christmas. :DUnfortunately when I moved the coat rack I found damp/mildew down the back. :mad:I'm not sure whether it's come in from outside (its exactly where the porch drain sits), or from wet clothes inside. I've left it to air and will then attack it.

I also found the alarm clock/calculators that have been waiting for batteries since I don't know when. In keeping with Valli's mantra, I found batteries. 1 calculator binned. 1 calculator and 1 alarm clock working. Yeah.

Now to walk Furry in the rain. I need to pick up tickets for a folk concert that is part of DH's birthday present. I walk past every day but keep forgetting to put my chequebook in my pocket.

Then I have the passageway to do and I will be done for the day. WOW. This new app has certainly kicked me off today. I will reserve final judgement until the end of the month though.
