Shepherds Piebut with pulled beef??
Hi All :) Just wanted to pick you brains! My OH hates minced beef BUT as we all know, thats one of the staples for making cheap, filling batch cookable dishes  So I wondered whether anyone has ever made a Shepherds pie but with pulled/shredded beef? Advice on mending thick tights
Hi :j 2 of my 3 pairs of tights have gained holes in as many days :( there's no money in the budget for replacing. I was hoping that these 3 would do me through winter for work :( . Places where you can eat packed lunch in winter
Hi all Eating a packed lunch is a no brainer to save money but it's tricky in winter when parks and squares are too cold to sit out in. I've been thinking for a while it would be good to have a list of places (in London but feel free to mention other places) where if you're out and about seeing the sights etc you can go to…

Strawberry and Chocolate Cheesecake
Every other weekend, me and my daughters make a cake of some sorts (only rule is that it has to include some kind of fruit or veg) and this week is cheesecake. Are jars always a bad option?
I've been wondering lately about why jars are so vilified. I have found that some are cheaper than cooking from scratch. So in fact it seems silly to not buy them? what do you think?
