Help got no hob for a couple of weeks

hi all I find myself without a hob for a while until landlord pulls his finger out and replaces it, can I have ideas for meals which don't involve using a hob. I have an oven/grill, sc and microwave. Also can I just throw raw mince in slow cooker without browning it for cottage pie, bolognese etc?
Thanks x

You don't have one of those handy camping stoves do you? We had to use ours when we had an issue many years ago with electricity meters.
Other than that, mince in the slow cooker won't brown but it will cook so the flavour and texture may just be slightly different.
If you were really determined to cook things before the slow cooker, they could be grilled."We always find something, hey Didi, to give us the impression we exist?" Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot.

I don't own a hob full stop.
I have a microwave, a steamer, an egg boiler, slow cooker. George foreman and an oven and grill
The only thing I would need a hob for would be to fry and egg. So I spent a £20 gift token I had been given to buy a single induction hob, I have used it exactly twice each time to fry an egg.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Snorkers, and bacon rolls all done under the gril;l. Great with some tomatoes.
Eat with soup in microwave!0 -
Have a think about what you normally use the hob for anyway, and if its only for a couple of weeks, if it was me it would have gone before I had chance to think about it,0

I pretty much use the microwave for most hob stuff. Rice and pasta cook well, though with pasta you'll have to have a large tub and not overfill with water or it will bubble over. I check it after a few mins, then keep an eye on it. I have even tried to brown stuff in the microwave instead of frying it, it doesn't always work well. Blink for a few seconds and your so-so unevenly caramalised onions turn into acrid brown rocks.
Rice can also be cooked in the oven in a stew dish. Just take it out before the water completely cooks away and leave for 15 mins with lid on whilst rice absorbs rest of water.
'One pot' oven cooked stews might be a good idea, saves on the washing up too. You don't have to brown the meat though the texture may differ. Or roast your meat chunks to brown them. I'm a vegan so it's been a while in that dept.
Talking of veggies, if you really don't like your meat unseared, then making your meals veggie heavy for a while might help. Pretty much all veggies taste even more awesome when roasted.

Thanks for all the advice guys, my kids are majorly into pasta so that is the main thing I am having a problem with but will have a go of doing it in the microwave. Don't think I could cope without my hob for too long though as I do use it a lot and I have a very basic microwave that rarely gets used, I am a bit concerned its new status as important kitchen tool may be too much for the old thing lol.Mummy to two beautiful girls and one gorgeous boy.0

A number of years ago we were without a kitchen for about 6 months, it did create some challenges!
We did have a microwave, a slow cooker and a steamer .... the steamer was my best friend .... I could cook rice / veg / fish / pasta in it .. fabulous.
Slow cooker, I always cook bolognaise / chilli in it, without browning ... I haven't died yet, and not noticed any discernible difference in taste either.
The main things I missed were:
Roast potatoes

Tell landlord that you,ll buy a hob, get it fitted and deduct it off of rent - he,ll move a bit faster thenNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
