Upcycling ideas for old cupcake/yorkshire trays?
I have been clearing out the kitchen and found two old yorkshire pudding type trays I have never used taking up valuable space. I would put them on Freecycle if they weren't a bit rusty. Something won't let me throw them away. They were my late Mothers, and she used them a lot years ago for making fairy cakes and yorkshire…

Some bits for the Kitchen
Am moving so have decided to upgrade my near student days sauce pans. Is there much difference towards the higher end in terms of quality or is it just about which ones you like the look of best. I'm thinking about brands like Mauviel, Le Creuset and All-Clad. Rather like the look of a Fissler Vitavit premium pressure…

Local Butcher / Farm Shop words of wisdom?
Been thinking about buying more meat from butchers/farm shops, as I like the idea of supporting my local farmers, but also think it might be cheaper. We've never done this before as a family, as my mother's convinced they work out a lot more expensive in the long run. Any words of wisdom regarding prices, cuts etc in this…

Spent my TKMaxx voucher (at last!)
Normally, I love shopping in TKM so I was delighted to be given vouchers for Christmas from my sister in law. Typically, I couldn't find anything that I liked, not actually wanting to waste it on things I don't need. Anyway, this week I decided to revamp one of the spare bedrooms, something I have done several times since…
