Smart menu for over seas guests in hot weather
I'm not, not , not roasting beef and doing Yorkshire pudding in this heat , no matter how quaint and charming:). They might well be here for tea as well as lunch, so I'll have a propper high tea quickly available....cumcumber sandwiches, some scones, homemade jam and clotted cream. It's the right time for cliches, so pimms…

Tomato and rosemary topping for fish
I quite fancy Birds eye Baked to Perfection after seeing an ad for cod fillets with tomato and rosemary, but for £4 for 2 forget it. I also used to like Fish cuisine if anyone remembers them. HAs anyone got a recipe for a tomato and rosemary sauce topping for fish or lemon and chive sauce?

Hanging Curtains with border
Not sure if this is the right forum to use but it's the one I use most:D This is a bit of a daft question but here goes! I got a pair of nice summer weight curtains from my local charity shop (brand new for £1:money:). They have a border down one edge and I'm not sure whether the border should be on the edge of the curtain…

Egg white in carpet
Hi :) I spilled 4 egg whites onto the carpet earlier. I quickly soaked up what I could with a towel as I had no time clean it up, I was in a mad rush. Well... It looks like it's drying now, and leaving a huge stain :( is there any way I can remove this? I'm quietly panicking. Thanks for reading

I need bread tips!!!
Hi, I need some tips on making bread in a machine. (This isn't a debate on which is better, I have a machine.) How can I make it light and fluffy? The recipes I use at the moment use all or mostly bread flour and olive oil. I found that any plain flour in the bread made it taste like crap cake. I've heard butter is best?…
