8th July? Seriously?! How did that happen?!!
Anyway... As I didn't post a meal plan last week (in fact I didn't even do a meal plan last week
), I'll start us off this week if that's OK:
Friday - falafel, chopped salad (hopefully including my first HG radishes of the year :j) with feta, tzatziki, pitta
Saturday - lamb koftas, halloumi and tomato kebabs, HM garlic flatbread, all cooked on my shiny new BBQ
Sunday - aubergine 'meatballs', pesto and tomato sauce and pasta
Monday - veg curry (F) with halloumi
Tuesday - ham and leek quiche (F) with salad and beans
Wednesday - pork (F) and veg stirfry with lime and chilli rice
Thursday - creamy smoked salmon and sugar snap pea pasta

Hello all! I have been off this thread for ages but seriously need to get back as my lack of planning over the last few months has dented both our wallets and figures!
This week:
Tonight: leftover lasagne with green salad and vinaigrette
Saturday: at a friends for dinner, contributing fruit salad. May make a quiche for later in the week.
Sunday: 2nd anniversary with OH, suggested that he organize something as I organized last year. So possibly out at a posh restaurant, more likely eating ramen in bed in our underpants watching a pirate DVD :P
Monday: quiche loraine with middle eastern salad
Tuesday: l/o quiche
Wednesday: Out with visiting work colleague
Thursday: veg stir fry on riceMortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Hi, I'm just getting back into meal planning, so here's what will hopefully happen next week
Friday : sausage casserole, mash, sweetcorn, broccoli & cauliflower
Saturday : pasta & meatballs, salad & garlic bread.
Sunday : BBQ, which will consist of various meat/fish, salad, HM . coleslaw, HM potato salad etc
Monday : haddock, mash, peas & green beans
Tuesday : veg & noodle stir fry
Wednesday : jacket potatoes, bacon & cauliflower chees & salad
Thursday : spaghetti bol & garlic bread
Friday : roast chicken & all the trimmings.
I know some of them aren't very 'hot weather' friendly, but the kids have got a full on week next week at school & after school, so it's either got to be quick or slow cooker friendly0 -

Hi everyone,
Didn't stick to my meal plan last weekNot great so hopefully I can this week!
Monday - Homemade Chicken Kebabs in Square Wraps
Tuesday - Tuna, Sweetcorn, Mayo Pasta, Salad, Garlic Bread
Wednesday - Grilled Chicken in BBQ Sauce, Corn on the Cob, Salad, Pommes Noisettes
Thursday - Chicken Fried Rice
Friday - Chicken and Chickpea Curry, Rice, Naan
Saturday - HM Breaded Chicken Burgers, Salad, Chips/Wedges
Sunday - HM Pizza
Trying not to include any red meat, tomato based things(I think the pizza sauce should be ok), anything too greasy(everything will be grilled/baked where possible and chicken fried rice uses about 1 tsp of oil per portion) so OH's IBS doesn't cause him too much trouble.
Will also use up peppers, onions etc to do some roast veggies for me to have on the side of things.
OH will be having Tuna Wraps for lunches, I'll eat at work as per usual. Will have to buy some fruit for snacks.September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
Feels quite strange that because i post here my weekly list i am more likely to stick to it, even tho i did always write a list before. Saved £60  over the last few weeks, just shows how much we spent on carp and takeaways as we were "already in town".
Monday - Lamb Stir Fry
Tuesday - LO spag bol - wrapsin salad, chips, pasta or rice with this.
Wednesday - Fish Fingers, mash and beans
Thursday - Quiche and veg
Friday - Steak and chips
Saturday - Chicken curry
Sunday - Roast0 -
Well last week's meal plan went out the window, so here's hoping for a better week this week!
M - Thai pork curry with noodles
T - Lasagna and garlic balls
W - Chicken and cashewnut stir fry with rice
T - Steak with mushrooms, corn and new potatoes (now gammon with macaroni cheese, broccoli and corn)
F - Gammon steaks with sweet potato wedges and baked beans (now steak with mushrooms, sweet potato wedges and beans)
S - (not sure, may be at a BBQ so will buy something to take or we'll eat leftovers / whatever's in the fridge) Bought Morrocan bean burgers and Piri Piri veg burgers and rolls to take
S - Lamb and veg curry with rice (changed - having some ppl over for a BBQ so we're having beef and veg kebabs, sausages, chicken wings, new potatoes, rolls, corn cobs, salad and some M&Ms for dessert - bought 4 bags for the cinema codes!)
The curry is already made in the freezer, so that;ll pass over to next week.
Apart from BBQ food for Sat, I have everything I need for this week in! Let's see how long that lasts...Still haven't bought anything! Just rearranged to use up some leftovers.
