I am a very inexperienced cook, as you will see. I am preparing a meal to go in my brand new slow cooker, I want to put the…

After the eye watering quote I had for made to measure, I think I'm going to go down the ready made route as I only want plain cream, nothing fancy. Laura Ashley have some full length ones in their sale reduced from £190 a pair to £95 I like but they are too long. I will need them taking up around 10 cms so they sit neatly…

Sloblady thread
I hate housework, cleaning, tidying. It is slightly more bearable with a game element applied. So here is my Sloblady tip to get started (Do these flylady people go to work, have kids, have lives??? ;) ). Rainbow tidying Monday - red, orange, yellows - clear away clutter of this colour, and wash this colour too. Method in…

How long can you sleep on a Z bed?
My DS's share a bedroom and have a bunk bed but now DS1 is at uni I would like to get rid of it and get DS2 a normal single bed. I don't want to get a pull out bed as Hoovering will be a pain then, but could I put DS1 up on a Z bed during uni holidays or would 6 weeks on one give him a back ache?
