Hi, I have started to make my own bread and thought I would see what types of flour people use. I have made 2 loaves so far using Hovis Strong Wholemeal Bread Flour (yellow packet) I like this, but do generally perfer granary bread, should I buy granary flour or a packet of seeds and add to normal flour? the main brands…

last week i made too much basmati rice and froze it straight away in those plastic reuseable takeaway containers... this sounds weird but i'm worried about using it now. Is it safe? should it be defrosted before cooking? I was trying too hard x

Chutney Question
Hello I made some chutney last year and have noticed that it has shrunk in the jar, is it safe to eat if it has shrunk? Other jars from the same batch didnt shrink and were fine ( I have eaten tham and am still alive!) but I am concerned about the ones that have shrunk. Any advice anyone? Thanks :)

Window Vac
When I went in Wilkinsons over the Bank Holiday a woman was there selling a new window vac that has come out, you just spray the windows with a cleaner and then vac the windows and they come clean, very handy device but its about £49 or something, would you feel it was worth buying or just a gimmick?

Do you use furniture polish or just dust? I don't like those aerosol spray polishes as they get on my chest.
