I wonder whether any kind MSE who has a copy of this book can help me.
I was glancing through a friend's copy a while ago, and mentally took a note of what I thought looked a nice recipe with spaghetti, prawns and chillis. I've got friends coming for dinner on Friday, and thought that I'd try it, especially as I have a load of whoopsied king prawns from Tesco in the freezer!
I can't find the recipe online, and obviously don't want to buy the book for 1 recipe - could anyone possibly post a copy please?

I can try from memory -
Cook spaghetti in lots of water, heat garlic oil in another pan (biggish dollop) to fry chopped spring onions - about a half bunch. Add chilli flakes - to taste IMO, for me a pinch, I guess depends how spicy you like your food & add a jar of sunblush tomatoes. Put in a pack of prawns, defrosted. Add a glass of white wine and a handful of rocket. Toss through the drained pasta. I think she adds chopped parsley at the end but I never have.
I hope that is of some help?0 -
1 x 200g packet frozen cooked peeled prawns, defrosted
250g spaghettini
2 x 15ml tablespoons garlic oil
4 spring onions, finely sliced
1/2 (half) teaspoon crushed chilli flakes
200g sunblush tomatoes in seasoned oil
125ml white wine or Noilly Prat
50g rocket, roughly torn
handful of flat leaf parsley, chopped
drain defrosted prawns and leave to one side
put copious amounts of water on to boil, when boiling, add salt and the pasta and cook to taste 9packet instructions) or slightly under
heat garlic oil in large pan (big enough to take pasta) and fry the spring onions and chilli flakes for 2 mins then tip in the toms with their oil and the prawns
when both have warmed through add the wine and let bubble up, add rocket and stir until wilted
drain pasta when ready, reserve 125ml of its cooking liquid and toss the drained pasta in the chilli-prwan pan
turn out onto a large warmed serving bowl and toss everything again so that all is combined, adding a little of the cooking water if needed and more oil or garlic oil if you want,
sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
I'll be around later!0
