Is it easy to replace a zip on a pair of jeans?
The zip broke on my favourite pair of cropped jeans and I desperately want to keep it, I had a good look at how the zip was stitched in but looks very complicated to get it back in the same if I unpick it, through several layers of denim fabric. How long does cake mixture last?
Im making alarge number of cakes for my school fete. Id say around 200 fairy cakes Can I make the mixture up in one lot or will it loose its raising agents as I can only bake 36 at a time Or would I be better making each lot from scratch? Thanks in advance:T

What to do with this stuff ?
For some mad reason :D I must have ordered a pkt of stuff that looks lile Stirfy mix but it is actually cabbage and carrot cut into strips. Is it possible to mush this stuff through home made beefburgers at all ? Will I cook it first or not ?

What to do with old digestives?
I have a tinful of old digestive buscuits. I think they're soggy and I can't bear to throw then away. Apart from cheesecake, what can I do with them? I have lots of dried fruit, dried apples, bananas, cherries etc and golden syrup. Any ideas? Thanks!

After all the talk of picallili I'm making some today. (veg salting as we speak). Question is, if the jars have plastic liners in the lids can I get away without waxed disks or are they still at risk of rusting? (I think I may have disks somewhere but like to use proper lids if possible...)
