Dried fruit

Hi everyone I have got a large box of dried fruit which i used some of last year to make the Christmas cake,pud,mincemeat and still have lots left what i want to know is do you think it will still be ok to use this year cannot find a sell/use by date have had a nibble of some and it tastes ok Rachael
Hi still have debts to clear :mad: working towards a DFL my family have grown over the last 2 years I very proud to say I now have 3 beautiful Grandchildren :T My DF fight continues

Hi,
If it looks ok, & no sign of any mould, and it tastes ok, I would use it myself. I did the same with some out of date candied fruit last year as it's expensive to buy those whole pieces, and the cake came out fine. I used to really abide by the given dates, but on dried goods, I now tend to think that if I can't see or smell a problem, I'll use it.2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
