Does mash potato reheat well?
Looking for some time saving ideas for meals when we work late... If I make a huge lot of mash in one go will it reheat well over a few days? I've tried boiling extra potatos before and using the next day, but they start to turn black and do not mash too well imo and are only good for frying.

Rolled oats - spleeeurgh!
I have always been meaning to ask what is the difference between rolled oats and any other kind and never got round to it. I bought some the other day and made porridge with them this morning - oooh, they are peculiar. Do you think they are more suited to baking eg flapjacks, or am I just fussy? I will need to use these up…

Recommendations for a food processor/blender for under £50 please
It will be used mainly for blending (milkshakes and smoothies on the whole - keeps the kids happy), but I was wondering about getting a food processor instead of a standard blender for a couple of reasons, the main being that I am finding it increasingly difficult, due to problems with my hands, to physically remove the…

OOh! Good old vinegar....
I bought from e-bay, an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner, not very expensive, under a fiver, and battery operated. Some are electric, do the same job, and cost lots more. I used it and was disappointed. Roast Whole Sweet Mama Squash
Hi, I've got a sweet mama squash that is by all accounts is very hard to peel/cut. I have a mystery item that I was given for xmas but I haven't the foggiest idea what it is or what its used for. Can't post a photo so its best description only Its 100% polyester, has a hoop that isn't a complete hoop (ie has a break in it) that seems to be made of really thick but bendy wire. The polyester material forms…
