I am sure I have seen on here somewhere a list of cleaning type things to do with denture tablets - I bought loads when they were selling them off cheap in Tesco but dont now know what to use them for - dont need them for the obvious yet - although strangely enough have a dentist appointment tomorrow!:D
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

The thing about putting them down the loo...
Don't know why but it turned our water pink and left a pink ring around where the water was. Had to put bleach down to clear this offMaybe a soft water thing or something.
Good for soaking shower curtains though. And I believe for soaking dentures0 -

They can also be used as a soak to whiten your nails - I've tried it and they work as well as expensive manicure whitening tablets!0

A good fun thing to do with them is to make little 'rockets' out of (old fashioned!!) plastic photo film containers.
Stick little paper fins to the 'cap' end of the container and make a little 'nosecone' for the flat end.
Put a little water in the container, and a couple of denture tablets. click the cap back on, and put it down on a hard surface (outside!!) ready for launch.
The pressue builds up in the container, until the cap pops off - launching the rocket a couple of feet into the air!
Great fun with young kids (Or big kids)
Bicarb tablets do the same thing - but I get a fair few free sample denture tablets, so for me it's cheap fun!!!!How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Also good for putting down delicate vases or jugs that need cleaning. Leave to soak for a couple of hours then rinse out.0

Wow, thanks everyone for your suggestions, am off to start using up the denture tabs!0
