Cleaning greasy surfaces
Started to use my kitchen a lot more these days and noticed a sticky greasy type residue on most kitchen surfaces since(Especially near the hobs so would assume vegtable oil) I've tried hot soapy water,soda crystals but the surfaces still feel greasy - Are the any products that will help? :o

Washing out biological powder question
Got daughter number 2 due later this year. how much per week?
read lots of threads and want to give a shopping challenge a go. we currently spend around £400 for a family of 6( 2 adults & 4 children(13,9,7,3)) the 2 eldest children have very healthy appetites. what would be a sensible amount to aim for? they have packed lunches so have to buy for those too. is making your own bread…

Alternative uses for contact lens solution?
I have 8 bottles of that contact lens solution that was discontinued because of possible eye infections. I can't take it back because it comes with my contact lenses and i'm supposed to have used it all ( i am very economical with it!) Does anyone have any ideas of what this may be useful for? In Tesco's Value range I have found a pack of 2 Microfibre cloths for 88p, does anyone know if they are any good, cos there was another brand next to it and that cost £3.95 for one cloth. Does the brand really make that much of a difference?

Looking for recipe for lentil and sweet potato patties..
Someone put the recipe on a thread I was keeping an eye on but didn't get round to subscribing to... and now I can't find it! Can anyone help?
