Hi All,
I regularly make veggy lasagne at home and it very nice, but yesterday I had Roasted pepper stilton lasagne and wow -was it delicious !!!. I was wondering if anyone could guide me on making this ? do I roast lots of peppers first, then add then to sauce, then layer sauce/pasta then put the stilton in the white sauce ? any advice gratefully received !! I love trying to recreate dishes (well - easyish ones !)
TIA

Oh that sounds delish; I may have to experiment with that combination too. Was there any other veg in the one you had?I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0

It sounds lovely. You can 'roast' peppers by oiling them and placing them directly on a gas burner or under the grill if you prefer. When the skins have blackened, seal them in a plastic bag to cool and then the blackened skins will peel off easily and you can slice and use your peppers.
Roasted peppers taste very different to uncooked ones, they're much sweeter. This combination with Stilton sounds divine and definitely will be on my list to try out.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
