Looking for recipe for lentil and sweet potato patties..

Someone put the recipe on a thread I was keeping an eye on but didn't get round to subscribing to... and now I can't find it!

Can anyone help? I could guess I suppose, but I remember the ingredients list making me go 'ooh', so I'm guessing it was more than just lentils mixed into sweet potato mash.... :rolleyes:

hi - i don't know the recipe, but if I was going to make these, I'd probably do something like this

onion, chopped
carrot, grated
cooked lentils
potato/sweet potato boiled/mashed
curry powder or any kind of herbs/spices

Soften the onion in a pan and combine everything into burgers/patties and then fry gently or bake in the oven. I'm on a (permanent!!) diet so don't fry but I make thai fishcakes with potato and tinned tuna and they always taste nice popped into the oven for 20 minutes
