Problems with my Mazda / SG Petch
I bought a brand new Mazda 2 Takuya 1.3 on 1st March from SG Petch. It's currently back at the garage for the third time, it's having rear shock absorbers fitted (which were apparently forgotton when it was assembled). There's also an issue with the engine (so I believe), it's cutting out, not to the point it stalls, but…

Car bought in Feb, Air Con not working, where do we stand?
Hi, we purchased a used car from a dealer back in February. We took it (unsupervised) for an extensive test drive. We were out in it for about an hour or so, parked up, had a good old look around, checked everything worked ok. All good, so it seemed. We collected the car a few days later with 12mths MOT. There were a few…

Help with parking for the Bull Ring Birmingham
Hi all, Planning on having a drive to the Bull Ring tomorrow. I've not been for a while but last time I was there I parked in an underground car park, but can't for the life of me remember what road it was on (think I just found it by accident last time). Cut long story short. Had issues with no claims bonus, the cert was always wrong, so new insurance cancelled. VW Garage double standards
I bought my VW approved Eos (2.0 T-FSI) for £13k in January. It was first registered 9/11/2006. There's a flexible servicing schedule (max 2 years), first service was 23/5/08 at 9000 miles, second at 17/6/09 at 17,000 miles, then the original owner sold it to the garage. Third service was done prior to sale 17/12/2010. I…

Question on fuel efficiency
Hiya I'm trying to work out if it is more fuel efficient to do a journey which takes around 50 minutes using local A roads covering 17 miles, or to take the M25 which takes the same amount of time but covers well over 30 miles. My guess is that as the engine is running for 50 minutes either way and the journey via A roads…

Cycle to Work Scheme...
Are the any cons about the C2W scheme? I'm looking at signing up myself (luckily not tied to Halfrauds) On my wage, buying a bike plus accessories for £499.99 will cost me £283.32 in salary payments, plus a final payment of £89.99 meaning a total of £373.32. Does this sound correct for a normal rate tax payer?
