Cheap Bus & Rail Travel in West Midlands
Hi all This may have been posted before, but in case it hasn't, i've just discovered a very cheap way of travelling via bus and/or rail to and from anywhere in the West Midlands. The idea is you chose how long you want your ticket to be valid for, eg 1 day, 1 week, etc, and you can travel as many times during that period…

Hi everyone, sorry for the long post but I would appreciate peoples opinions. I have owned my Mondeo ST 220 for 4 years and love it very much, but my new job is forcing me to spend £3,600 a year on petrol for the rush hour stop start commute. Car Tax Renewal Credit Card Charge
The £2.50 fee they charge you for renewing your car tax online by credit card, is it actually added to the rate of duty and printed onto the disc? E.g. if the tax is £130 a year, will they print £132.50 as the rate paid on the actual disc? Only asking as the tax disc web site displays it as "12 months duty of £132.50"

Rover 75
Been offered a low mileage Rover 75 diesel estate at a price too good to turn down. Been on the look out for an estate car on and off for a while. Rovers have never really been my thing, anything I need to look out for on this car? Will the fact it's an auto cause any problems?

One-way van hire - any tips for a good price?
I'd like to hire a van for a one-way journey (from the Darlington area to London) but having done a bit of research, it seems that most hire places charge quite a hefty supplement for one-way hire - a day's hire is something like £30-50 but doing it one-way adds another £100 or more to the cost. Is there any way of doing…

Tyres
My tyres are in need of replacing soon, fronts are just under 3mm and rears just under 4mm, I did swap them around last year but looks like I did it a bit too soon! I do a lot of motorway miles and so economy was quite important when I chose the current Michelin Primacy HP tyres but I still want something that is good in…
