cheapest train tickets

Hi i have 5 tickets for the xfactor autitions in birmingham on the thursday the 2nd of june. I am wanting to travel by train but cant find any trains tickets under £100!!!! so was wondering if someone could help me.
i am looking to travel from Newcastle central station to birmigham. I need to be at birmingham for 11:00 am and can leave anytime after 7:30 pm. thanks x

Is arriving at Birmingham [STRIKE]New Street[/STRIKE] International at 11:55 ok?

If so the return trip can be done for £70.50 each by splitting at Sheffield and using Advance Singles.

If you say that's ok, then I'll post details.
No secrets, just don't want to spend time typing if it no use.

Edited to add:
Ah ... I see its at LG Arena, NEC and starts at 12:30.
So maybe that timing is a bit tight.

Newcastle to York Anytime day return £35
York to Sheffield Anytime day return £17.90
Sheffield to Derby Off Peak day return £9.60
Derby to Birmingham Int Off Peak day return £15
Total return: £77.50

With that combo you can catch the 07:25 Newcastle to Birimingham Int arr 10:55.

Trains must call at the split points, which the 07:25 does. Any train on the way back as long as they call at the split points.
