Hello everyone!
I am trying to get some tyres for my Daewoo Matiz SE+ 04 Reg. Can anyone let me know if these sizes/ ratings below would be suitable? I know the size 155/65 R13 is correct but I am unsure about speed/load ratings. Does this mean anything different? If anyone knows I would be grateful. Thanks in advance

Size:155/65T R13
Speed= T Load= 73

What does it say on the sidewall of your existing tyres? If in doubt just match that.

Or if the price is the same just go for the highest load/speed rating available -- too high will never do any harm.

I believe my mates 1.8 Litre Cavalier takes T speed rated tyres. I think they should be sufficient for a car like a Matiz.

I just checked the price on Blackcircles, boy am i glad my car takes a common size. Even a cheapy is £42 fitted. Decent tyres nigh on £60.

And there is me moaning about having to pay £65 a tyre for my Mondeo, size is 205/55/16.

Cool, I checked and the ones I have are T73 so that's good. Thanks for your responses

Nah -- that size is £29 delivered for Nexens (decent Korean tyres and about as good as you need for a Matiz). Add a fiver a corner for fitting and that's £34.

Was that on Blackcircle Jase. I looked it up on my phone and the cheapest i saw was the Blackcircles budget choice at £42 each.

My usual place, Elite, are normally cheaper than Blackcircles whenever i have looked for tyres but they don't have a price for that size.

I must admit £29 seems more like it for such a small size of tyre.

Oponeo -- just the first one I went to. I have no loyalty to retailers :)

    Was that a fitted price?

I have no loyalty to a retailer that charges me too much or gives bad service. Such as when there is an issue that needs sorted.

But when i get good prices and service i will happily spread the news.

One thing is most people round my way use Elite already anyway!

Will definately check the website you have mentioned.

I reckon they are supply only as fitting is not mentioned.

As you will easily pay £10 for fitting, balance and old tyre disposal, maybe £15 in London or the South East, i don't think the prices are that good.

Though if you have access to tyre fitting and balancing equipment then a good resource and large range.
