Screw the train, take the bus!
I used to get the train daily with First Group from Bracknell to Maidenhead costing me £10 a day return. If I got a weekly ticket it would cost £45.30 therefore costing me about £200-£250 a month. With a bus pass I now pay only £72 a month. Its a bit quicker to get there, plus its a direct bus. I can go anywhere inbetween…

Parking fine issued by council for driver not owner
Hi, I received a parking fine over the weekend when parked at a Country Park. It says it is for the driver and it is not in the official yellow packaging. It's just a piece of paper. It has been issued by Kent County Council and not an individual borough. I'm not sure where I stand with this fine, I know that with private…

Confused. ?Car scrappage
I bought my 10 year old (june 99) car almost a year ago (October 28th) for £1450 and it's MOT is dated October 26th. I just got it MOT'd and it has failed supposedly needing a new engine (it's a small VW and only done 27 000 miles) and a new tyre which will cost upwards of £800. I don't think I'm eligible for scrappage…
