I have just brought a 3 year old car from a ford dealer comes with only 3 months warranty , but to buy a 12 month warranty its £340 but its not added to the end of the 3 months free it starts from when you collect the car . is it worth buying the warranty

These people are in business to make money out of you. I think I will go with Chippy Minton on this one. As the vehicle is from a main dealer, it should be alright if it has a full servicing history.The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

It is a dealership warranty? Do you know what it covers? It may not be worth it.
How many miles do you do a year? How many miles already on the clock of the vehicle? There is alot to be weighed up as to whether it is a good idea or not. My instinct is to say no, but I think it is worth investigating, even if it is just for peace of mind.Genie
