Peugeots - Should we buy one?
We have put a deposit on a Peugeot 307 1.6S 2055/55 reg 9000 miles I have read mixed reviews about this car - is it worthwhile or should I cancel? We have a budget of up to £8000 and want a car of this size, not too old or too many miles. Any suggestions or advice? It is a minefield. Many thanks

"Premium" petrol
Filling up last night and found almost all unleaded pumps out of action. Thankfully found one working (out of eight on the forecourt) as I thought I was going to have to pay more for 'Optimax' or 'Super Unleaded' (whatever the brand was called). This led me to wonder, does anyone else use these fuels and have you noticed…

Looking for a UK version of 'Rain-X'
When I lived in the US, I was able to buy a product called 'Rain-X', which was a liquid you wiped on your windscreen that made water bead up better. It was so good that when it was newly applied, I could drive down the motorway in a heavy rain without needing the wipers! The water just rolled off--wonderful for visibility!…
